Converting a net price (without tax) to gross (with tax) and back:

gross=net⋅(1+VAT100)net=gross1+VAT100gross = net\cdot\left(1+\frac{VAT}{100}\right)\qquad net=\frac{gross}{1+\frac{VAT}{100}}

Enter the amount, mark whether it is net or gross, and pick a VAT rate (in Poland the standard rate is 23%, with reduced rates of 8%, 5% and 0%). The calculator shows both prices and the VAT amount itself.

Examples

$1000 net, VAT 23%

$123 gross, VAT 23%
→ net = $100 (VAT = $23)
