Zdania przysłówkowe na B2 to precyzyjne narzędzie do wyrażania złożonych relacji logicznych — ustępstwa, celu, skutku. Klucz: dobór właściwego spójnika i właściwej formy czasownika po nim.
Zdania przysłówkowe — przypomnienie i rozszerzenie
Zdania przysłówkowe modyfikują zdanie główne, wyrażając: czas, miejsce, przyczynę, cel, skutek, ustępstwo, warunek.
Na B2 skupiamy się na trzech typach wymagających precyzji:
- Ustępstwo (concession) — mimo że
- Cel (purpose) — żeby, aby, po to by
- Skutek (result) — tak...że

1. Zdania ustępstwa (Concession)
Wyrażają kontrast — coś jest prawdą MIMO INNEJ trudności.
Jak używać: Use in writing — although, even though, despite, in spite of, so that. Recognise in reading — whereas, nevertheless, nonetheless. Formal / literary only (rozpoznawaj, rzadko produkuj) — for all that, lest, in order that.

even though vs even if: even though = fakt rzeczywisty (Even though it is hard, he trains — jest trudno). even if = hipoteza (Even if it were hard, he would train — gdyby było trudno). Pełne zdanie po despite? Dodaj the fact that: Despite the fact that the training was intensive… (bo despite + zdanie jest błędne).
